Real people. Real results. Real reviews.

Being in the Construction Industry and Denver Market for the last 10yrs, with no hesitation I can say that Axis Air is by far the Most professional, and Most responsive subcontractor for Temporary Heat or Controlled Air in the market. Their Customer Service, Equipment, and Staff is both 5 Star and Top Notch. If you make the call, they execute the task. It’s really that simple.

Axis has been amazing to deal with. Dave went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met with the right equipment. What made the greatest impact is that I could tell he was genuinely concerned about taking care of us as a customer from the very first contact.

Axis Air was absolutely great to work with. They worked with us on prices and were able to meet all of our temp heat needs in a timely manner. Brandon was very professional and always picked up my calls even on nights and weekends when I had questions on our temp heat setup. I would highly recommend Axis Portable Air to all general contractors.

Axis has been amazing to work with on my project for 150 Unit build in North Denver. Their customer service combined with their competitive price puts them at the top of my list when it comes to temp heat. They are there when they say they will be and deliver on what’s been agreed upon. As the market is hard enough to lock down subs, it’s nice to know I don’t have to worry when it comes to temp heat. Will continue to use them on all the jobs I’m on moving forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer portable air conditioner rentals in Austin?

Yes. Our Austin team rents a full range of portable cooling solutions, including spot coolers, portable AC units up to 12 tons, water-cooled systems, evaporative coolers, and supporting equipment for commercial, industrial, and emergency use.

Is it worth renting a portable AC instead of running an existing system?

In many cases, yes. Portable AC rentals are ideal when your permanent system can’t keep up with extreme heat, during equipment failures, or when cooling is only needed short-term. Renting avoids strain on existing HVAC systems and provides targeted cooling exactly where it’s needed.

Can you help me determine how many BTUs I need for my space?

Absolutely. Our team will size the equipment based on room dimensions, ceiling height, heat load, occupancy, and airflow requirements. We have units that range from 1 - 12 tons to meet the requirements for most situations.

Can portable AC units cool large spaces and event sites?

Portable AC units are best suited for targeted or spot cooling or single zone installations. For larger areas, multiple units or higher-capacity systems may be required. Our team will recommend the right setup based on your layout and cooling goals.

Do you also provide temporary heating equipment in Austin?

Yes. While cooling is the primary demand in Central Texas, we also offer portable heaters for cold snaps, winter outages, and temperature-sensitive environments when heating is required.

Do you rent dehumidifiers along with cooling equipment?

We do. Dehumidifiers are commonly paired with portable AC units in humid conditions to improve comfort, protect equipment, and speed up drying in restoration or construction environments.

How quickly can equipment be delivered in the Austin area?

Most deliveries can be completed same-day or next-day, depending on availability and scope. Emergency response is available 24/7 for urgent cooling or heating needs.

Do you handle delivery, setup, and system configuration?

Yes. Our technicians manage delivery, placement, ducting, and startup. We verify airflow, power requirements, and system performance before leaving your site.

Which areas do you serve from the Austin location?

Axis Air serves customers throughout the Central Texas region from our Austin location. This includes Austin and surrounding areas across Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Caldwell, Burnet, and Blanco counties. We support commercial, industrial, restoration, and specialty climate control needs throughout the region. If you’re unsure whether your site is within our service area, our team can quickly confirm coverage and coordinate delivery.

What are your rental terms, and can they be adjusted if timelines change?

Rentals typically start with a 24-hour minimum, with flexible daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term options available. If your project runs longer than expected, rental terms can be adjusted to ensure uninterrupted heating or cooling support.
