Axis has been amazing to deal with. Dave went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met with the right equipment. What made the greatest impact is that I could tell he was genuinely concerned about taking care of us as a customer from the very first contact.

Axis Air was absolutely great to work with. They worked with us on prices and were able to meet all of our temp heat needs in a timely manner. Brandon was very professional and always picked up my calls even on nights and weekends when I had questions on our temp heat setup. I would highly recommend Axis Portable Air to all general contractors.

Axis has been amazing to work with on my project for 150 Unit build in North Denver. Their customer service combined with their competitive price puts them at the top of my list when it comes to temp heat. They are there when they say they will be and deliver on what’s been agreed upon. As the market is hard enough to lock down subs, it’s nice to know I don’t have to worry when it comes to temp heat. Will continue to use them on all the jobs I’m on moving forward.

Although this company is fairly new to the market, they have strong financial backing & they have already proven themselves leaders in the climate control industry in a short time. Not only have they invested in some of the best equipment, but more importantly the best talent. Frequently Asked Questions

How do you design temporary cooling solutions for high-heat and high-humidity environments in Jacksonville?

In Jacksonville, cooling alone is not enough—humidity control is critical. We design systems that combine portable air conditioning with commercial-grade dehumidification to manage both temperature and moisture. This is especially important in warehouses, healthcare facilities, and restoration environments where excess humidity can damage materials or disrupt operations.

Can you provide emergency cooling during an HVAC failure in an occupied commercial building?

Yes. We regularly support property managers and facility teams with emergency portable AC deployments during system failures. Our focus is on stabilizing indoor conditions quickly while working within the constraints of occupied spaces, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants, staff, or operations.

What types of cooling equipment do you offer in Jacksonville?

Our fleet includes 1–12 ton portable air conditioners, spot coolers, water-cooled systems, and evaporative coolers. We also provide high-capacity dehumidifiers and air movers to manage both temperature and moisture in demanding environments.

What is the best solution for drying and climate control after water damage or flooding?

Effective drying requires a coordinated approach. We deploy a combination of dehumidifiers, air movers, and targeted cooling to accelerate moisture removal and prevent secondary damage such as mold growth. Each setup is designed based on square footage, saturation levels, and airflow requirements to ensure efficient drying timelines.

Can you support hurricane or storm-related recovery projects in Jacksonville?

Yes. We provide rapid-response climate control and drying equipment following storms, hurricanes, and flooding events. Our team supports restoration contractors, facilities, and property managers with scalable equipment solutions to stabilize environments and keep recovery efforts moving.

Do you offer emergency portable AC and climate control rentals in Jacksonville?

Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency response for portable AC rentals, dehumidification, and temporary climate control. Whether you're dealing with an HVAC failure or storm-related damage, we can respond quickly to restore safe conditions.

How quickly can you deliver portable AC or drying equipment in Jacksonville and surrounding areas?

Most deliveries are completed same-day or next-day throughout Jacksonville and nearby areas. For urgent situations, our team offers 24/7 emergency delivery to get cooling or drying equipment on site as quickly as possible.

How do you manage power requirements for portable AC and drying equipment on-site?

We evaluate available power on-site, including voltage, amperage, and distribution capacity, and match equipment accordingly. For larger deployments, we plan power needs in advance to avoid circuit overloads and ensure seamless operation. Generator compatibility can also be coordinated when required.

What areas do you serve from your Jacksonville location?

Our Jacksonville location serves a wide area across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, typically within a one- to two-hour drive. This includes Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Orange Park, Fernandina Beach, Palm Coast, and surrounding communities. If you're outside these areas, reach out. We often support nearby regions based on equipment availability and project needs.

What is the minimum rental period and can rentals be extended?

Rentals typically begin with a 24-hour minimum. We offer flexible daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term options to match your project timeline. If timelines change, rental terms can be adjusted so your equipment remains in place without interruption.
