Real people. Real results. Real reviews.

Being in the Construction Industry and Denver Market for the last 10yrs, with no hesitation I can say that Axis Air is by far the Most professional, and Most responsive subcontractor for Temporary Heat or Controlled Air in the market. Their Customer Service, Equipment, and Staff is both 5 Star and Top Notch. If you make the call, they execute the task. It’s really that simple.

Axis has been amazing to deal with. Dave went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met with the right equipment. What made the greatest impact is that I could tell he was genuinely concerned about taking care of us as a customer from the very first contact.

Axis Air was absolutely great to work with. They worked with us on prices and were able to meet all of our temp heat needs in a timely manner. Brandon was very professional and always picked up my calls even on nights and weekends when I had questions on our temp heat setup. I would highly recommend Axis Portable Air to all general contractors.

Axis has been amazing to work with on my project for 150 Unit build in North Denver. Their customer service combined with their competitive price puts them at the top of my list when it comes to temp heat. They are there when they say they will be and deliver on what’s been agreed upon. As the market is hard enough to lock down subs, it’s nice to know I don’t have to worry when it comes to temp heat. Will continue to use them on all the jobs I’m on moving forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer portable cooling and climate control rentals in Fort Lauderdale?

Yes. We provide portable air conditioners, spot coolers, water-cooled systems, evaporative coolers, heaters, and dehumidifiers for commercial, industrial, and emergency applications.

What types of cooling and humidity-control equipment do you offer?

We rent 1–12 ton portable AC units, air and water spot coolers, evaporative coolers, and commercial-grade dehumidifiers. These systems are commonly combined to manage both heat and moisture in South Florida environments.

What cooling systems work best in Florida’s hot and humid climate?

In humid regions like Fort Lauderdale, equipment that removes both heat and moisture performs best. Portable air conditioners and water-cooled systems, often paired with dehumidifiers, are typically more effective than evaporative air coolers, which are less efficient in high-humidity environments.

Do portable air coolers actually work in high humidity?

Evaporative air coolers can help in certain situations, but in humid conditions they are often less effective than portable AC units. Our team can recommend the right solution based on airflow, temperature, and moisture levels.

Do you offer dehumidifier rentals for moisture control?

Yes. We provide commercial dehumidifiers that are frequently used to support cooling systems, protect interiors, and improve comfort during humid conditions or water intrusion events.

Can you help determine the right BTU or tonnage for my space?

Absolutely. Our team evaluates room size, ceiling height, heat load, humidity, and usage to recommend properly sized equipment—whether that’s a small spot cooler or a multi-ton portable AC setup.

Do you handle delivery, setup, and system configuration?

Yes. Our team oversees on-site installation and startup, making sure the equipment is configured correctly and ready for use before we wrap up.

Which areas do you serve from your Fort Lauderdale location?

Axis Air serves customers throughout South Florida from our Fort Lauderdale location. This includes Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas across Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties. We support commercial, industrial, restoration, and specialty climate control needs throughout the region. If you’re unsure whether your site is within our service area, our team can quickly confirm coverage and coordinate delivery.

What is the minimum rental period?

Most rentals begin with a 24-hour minimum. We also offer flexible daily, weekly, monthly, and longer-term rental options depending on your project needs. Please contact us and we would be happy to discuss rental options that we have.

If my project runs longer than expected, can the rental be extended?

Yes. Rental timelines can be adjusted if conditions change, allowing your cooling or humidity-control equipment to remain in place without service interruptions. Please contact us and we can work on adjusting your contract based on your project timeline.
