Being in the Construction Industry and Denver Market for the last 10yrs, with no hesitation I can say that Axis Air is by far the Most professional, and Most responsive subcontractor for Temporary Heat or Controlled Air in the market. Their Customer Service, Equipment, and Staff is both 5 Star and Top Notch. If you make the call, they execute the task. It’s really that simple.

Axis has been amazing to deal with. Dave went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met with the right equipment. What made the greatest impact is that I could tell he was genuinely concerned about taking care of us as a customer from the very first contact.

Axis Air was absolutely great to work with. They worked with us on prices and were able to meet all of our temp heat needs in a timely manner. Brandon was very professional and always picked up my calls even on nights and weekends when I had questions on our temp heat setup. I would highly recommend Axis Portable Air to all general contractors.

Axis has been amazing to work with on my project for 150 Unit build in North Denver. Their customer service combined with their competitive price puts them at the top of my list when it comes to temp heat. They are there when they say they will be and deliver on what’s been agreed upon. As the market is hard enough to lock down subs, it’s nice to know I don’t have to worry when it comes to temp heat. Will continue to use them on all the jobs I’m on moving forward.

Although this company is fairly new to the market, they have strong financial backing & they have already proven themselves leaders in the climate control industry in a short time. Not only have they invested in some of the best equipment, but more importantly the best talent. Their team consists of 100% professionals, who can quicky & reliably support any heating or cooling needs.

The Axis Team epitomizes professionalism and superior customer service. We called them with an urgent need, they were ultra-responsive and quick to deliver which ensured minimal disruption to our business operations. Thank you Team Axis!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer portable air conditioner rentals for extreme Dallas heat?

Yes. Our Dallas–Fort Worth team provides portable AC rentals designed for extreme Texas heat, helping keep projects, facilities, and events operating safely during high temperatures.

Can I rent temporary HVAC equipment for commercial or industrial spaces in Dallas–Fort Worth?

Yes. We supply portable air conditioners, spot coolers, heaters, dehumidifiers, air movers, and air scrubbers for commercial, industrial, and emergency applications.

Is it more cost-effective to rent a portable AC instead of running an existing system?

In many situations, yes. Renting a portable AC unit can be more cost-effective than running or repairing an existing system, especially if the built-in HVAC is undersized, failing, or struggling to keep up with temporary heat loads. Portable units allow you to cool only the areas that need it, which can reduce energy waste and prevent overworking your main system. For short-term needs such as equipment failures, spot cooling, supplemental cooling, or special events, rental solutions often provide faster deployment and lower upfront costs than major repairs or permanent upgrades.

Can you help determine the right BTU capacity for my space?

Yes. Our team reviews your space, usage requirements, and conditions to recommend properly sized equipment, including portable AC units and heaters with the correct BTU output.

What sizes and capacities of portable AC units do you offer?

Our portable cooling fleet includes units ranging from small spot coolers up to 12-ton portable air conditioners, along with water-cooled and evaporative cooling options.

Do you also provide temporary heating equipment for cold snaps or winter outages?

Yes. We offer portable heating solutions for unexpected cold weather, outages, and winter projects, with heater capacities ranging from 5,100 to 2,300,000 BTUs.

What types of portable heaters are available for commercial or job-site use?

We provide electric heaters, direct-fired heaters, indirect-fired heaters, and other high-capacity heating options suitable for job sites, facilities, and large spaces.

How quickly can you deliver emergency cooling or heating equipment in the Dallas–Fort Worth area?

Most deliveries are completed same day or next day across the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area, with 24/7 emergency response available when immediate support is needed.

Which areas do you serve from your Dallas / Fort Worth (Haltom City) location?

From our Haltom City location, we provide commercial and industrial climate control solutions throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding North Texas communities within approximately two hours of our facility. This includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Denton, Carrollton, Grapevine, Grand Prairie, Weatherford, Cleburne, Decatur, Sherman, Waco, Tyler, and other nearby job sites across North and Central Texas.

What are your rental terms, including minimum rental periods and extensions?

Most rentals start with a 24-hour minimum, and we offer flexible daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term rental options. Rentals can be extended if your project runs longer than expected.
